My favourite book this semester was Maze Runner by James Dashner. I liked this book the best due to the fact that it pulls you in after reading it for only five minutes, and never wants to let go. It was almost as if I was attached to the book. The characters were all unique, the setting was spectacular and James Dashner used imagery very well to express just how colossal everything was, and to top it off, the story was fantastic! Every time a chapter ended there was something brand new and exciting to make you want to read more. I never wanted to stop reading this book.
Due to the sheer awesomeness and fantastic use of literary devices I would have to give it a 9 out of 10. Not a full ten because sometimes I felt it difficult to connect with the main character.
