Based on the events of Just Lather Thats All, I can define the Golden Mean of Integrity as being true to yourself in situations that call for it, but not to stay true to yourself when the outcome could possibly be bad. The barber shows the golden mean of integrity because he was true to himself enough to stand up for his rights by being a rebel. But didn't take that too far by killing the opposite team's leader and possibly ruining the cause they are fighting for.

The Captain Torres fits in to the excess of integrity because he did what would probably kill him just because his inner morals were too high and he was too true to himself which caused for possible harm to him.
